Michael Brennan Michael Brennan - "Mouse"

Michael commenced playing hockey at six years of age with the local Rangeville Hockey Club.

Michael represented Toowoomba in all age divisions from Under 11 to Senior Men from 1983 to 1992 commencing at eight years of age.

Michael represented the Darling Downs in Primary and Secondary School Boys Hockey from 1985 to 1991. During this time he represented Queensland in both primary and secondary school. In 1992 Michael was selected in the Australian Secondary Schoolboys team to tour New Zealand.

Michael has represented Queensland in all age levels from Under 13 to Senior men (Queensland Blades in the National Hockey League). In 2000 Michael was captain of the Blades.

In 1993 Michael accepted a scholarship to attend the Australian Institute of Sport in Perth for hockey. He has been there since then.

As of September 2001, Michael has achieved 100 test caps for Australia. He gained his 100th at the Olympics in Sydney in 2001. The caps were gained on the following Australian tours.
